在美國寄槍如同一般包裹．聯邦法律甚至禁止在盒子上作特殊標誌，免得引人注意．
回家後正式開箱．
這槍出廠時其實包裝的很整齊．但是我前幾天在FFL處打開檢查時，懶得仔細包裝就放回去．
槍盒內容就是一把手槍，一個彈匣，說明書，還有商品保障卡．原來還附帶一個此槍擊發的空彈殼，但是已經由FFL繳給州警局．後面粉紅色的表格，則是馬州犯罪紀錄調查表格的副本．上面照例蓋了NOT DISAPPROVED的橡皮章．
我小時後有一把M1911A1塑膠模型手槍，1:1比例，所有零件重現．當時拆槍的步驟還記得．只不過這把用上全尺寸覆進簧導桿，空手不容易拆卸．得用個什麼工具將覆進簧用力壓下去，才容易轉動槍管套筒．
抽出覆進簧之後，其餘步驟和一般M1911A1相同．
滑套拉到後面，從右側頂出釋放鈕，就可將滑套連槍管往前推出．
大部分解成功．將槍身上的防繡油全弄乾淨之後．

我幾月前夜買了把RIA 1911 .45ACP Tac (My first 1911 and RIA) I compete in USPSA shooting with Glock 17 (minor) I bought this 1911 with the thought to start enter the major category:-) anyway.
一些經驗:
1. I have 11 Colt Factory Magazines (7rds and 8 rds) and they all work flawlessly in it. I used all sorts of Ammo (freedommunition reloads/New Tulammo Winchester white boxes). I found CDNN sports to be the best source other then the Midway deals occationally) without problem on both FMJ and JHP.
2. 我的RIA 有點怪 每一次去靶場 前1-2個蛋夾都很準 (1.5" group at 15 yards). 但之後就開始spread out. How does ur RIA perform? I do not think it is my promblem rathen than the gun.
